Our Ministries
At Poland Village Baptist Church we are blessed to offer a variety of ministries and services
We have safe, comfortable, and quality nursery and preschool care that is offered during all of our Sunday Morning services.
We have a great Junior Church program for children Kindergarten through 4th grade that is dynamic and interactive.
We love to minister to children. On Sunday Evenings we have Word of Life Clubs for preschool, elementary, and teens. WOL Club includes small groups, fun games, Bible teaching and memorizing, and singing!
We have Sunday School for every age: elementary, youth, and adult.
We have Bible-based Sunday Evening Ministries for the whole family including an interactive in depth Adult Bible Study and Word of Life Clubs for all children.
Our Student ministries, along with meeting every Sunday night, regularly enjoy fun and spiritually enriching activities, retreats, and service projects.
For adults, along with our Sunday services, we have Men's and Women's Bible Studies and many varying ways that you can serve God by serving our community.
If you enjoy music, we have a wonderful mix of choir, instrumental music, hymns and contemporary songs.
Join Hands
After service on Communion Sunday, we join hands in the chapel and sing "Blessed Be the Ties That Bind." This is symbolic of our love and service to each other, to our God, and to our community. Together we worship our God, serve our community, encourage one another, teach our children, and pursue an ever growing relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
All of our ministries are open to anyone with a heart and a will to Join Hands with us.
Music Ministry - We love to sing and are truly blessed with musical talent in voice, instrument, and desire to worship Christ. There are many opportunities to become involved from our Praise Band, to choir, to our instrumental ensemble.
Together Teams - We care about our community, both to serve them and to share the Gospel. Our four Together Teams: Together Poland, Together Struthers, Together Youngstown, and Together World strive to get involved in our communities and demonstrably show God's love. We want our community to know that there is a church on a hill in Poland Ohio who loves them and wants to serve them.
Children's Ministry - Jesus has a special place in His heart for the children. And we have special ministries just for them: Nursery/Preschool, Sunday School, Junior Church, Word of Life Clubs and Vacation Bible School. We love to serve children at PVBC!
Student Ministries - Our student ministries for Junior and Senior High teens is led by Pastor Rob Laing. Students enjoy fun activities, Word of Life Discipleship on Sunday nights, retreats, and service opportunities.
Ladies Bible Studies - Every Fall and Spring the Ladies gather together for a small group Bible Study. We gather to share the joy of our faith, to laugh together, to support each other, and to learn from God's Word.
Men's Ministry - The men gather every Fall and Spring for a time of Bible study and service. We gather around God's Word to encourage each other and we go in service to encourage others.
